Outreach and Education

Canopy 2050 work with individuals and groups from all walks of life. We believe that everyone can benefit from the experience of growing trees, it is such a satisfying thing to do.

We aspire to work with

  • Individuals
  • Community groups
  • Schools
  • Residential homes
  • Businesses
  • Other non-profit organizations and charities
  • Local councils

If you or a group you are involved with would like to organize an event, please contact us.

What we do

This can be in the form of talks, practical workshops (seed collecting, tree ID, seed planting, tree planting) and environmental stewardship activities such as bulb planting and rhododendron bashing.

We strive to participate in as many local events as possible where there may be people interested in growing trees.

If you know of a great event where we could have a stall to recruit tree guardians, please contact us.

Future activities and services will include

  • Wildlife friendly hedges
  • Carbon credits
  • Biodiversity credits
  • Services to building contractors on biodiversity net gain
  • Tree sales
  • Native tree seed sales
